THE ISLAND OF MOTORSPORT

The Isle of Man TT & Manx Grand Prix

A road-racing tradition unlike any other — and a spectacular island to explore between sessions.

A century of racing

The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races began in 1907. Since 1911, the famous Mountain Course has challenged riders over public roads through villages, countryside and mountain scenery. At approximately 37.73 miles, it remains one of the world's most distinctive road-racing circuits.

The Manx Grand Prix

First run in 1923, the Manx Grand Prix has a long history of giving riders the opportunity to race on the Mountain Course. Together, the TT and MGP are deeply woven into the Island's identity.

Explore the course

The circuit runs from Douglas through the west and north of the Island, including Ballacraine, Kirk Michael, Ballaugh, Ramsey and the Mountain section before returning to Douglas. Exact access and closures vary with the race schedule.
