Meet our Mitsubishi Delica
A Japanese-built 4WD people carrier with a character all its own. This is the actual vehicle used for TRX Tours, not a generic tour bus.
Our Delica L400
Our tour vehicle is a 2006 Mitsubishi Delica L400 Active Field Edition, powered by Mitsubishi's 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine. It combines the space and visibility of an MPV with a capable four-wheel-drive platform.
Prepared for Manx lanes
Our Delica has been raised by approximately two inches, with Ironman rear lift springs and an adjusted front torsion-bar setup. Its elevated ride height and 4WD system suit the varied terrain of the Island's permitted routes.
Travelling in comfort
Large windows, elevated seating and a spacious interior make the Delica a particularly enjoyable way to see the Island. Tours are limited to five paying passengers, leaving room for a relaxed, personal experience.
The story of our particular Delica
Purchased in November 2025, the vehicle has since undergone mechanical work and improvements in preparation for its touring role. It has passed the Isle of Man DOI vehicle type inspection and is maintained locally by Northern Autocare in Jurby. We'll add more photographs and a detailed vehicle history as the collection grows.
